Welcome to Red Raspberry Doula! My name is Henny Isaacson and I have a real love for the work that I do here. I started RRD because I am truly passionate about the care that I am privileged to provide to my clients. In addition to my certification as a doula, I am also a Family Herbalist, Disaster Medic, and Aromatherapist. I am an avid user of holistic remedies which I have studied specifically for women during pregnancy and labor. Additionally, I have a specialty in pain management and have a strong interest in understanding the scientific background of pain relief. I am trained to operate a labor TENS unit in addition to other non-invasive pain reduction strategies. Why is my business called Red Raspberry Doula? Both strong and sweet, raspberries remind me of the traits that I always hope to embody in business and in life. Also, the rich color and deep flavor represent, to me, the power and beauty of bringing a new life into the world. And just as red raspberry leaves help deliver a smooth, speedy labor, I too, want to ease your birth process with my support.
